The leader of "Total Revolution" , great warrior of Indian Freedom Struggle, Marxist-turned socialist-Gandhinian, a life-long Ahinshak rebel Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan was born on 11th October,1902 in ordinary family at Sitab Diyara village which is situated between the two rivers, the Ganga and Saraju in Saran District.
Died on 8th October,1979.
